The Missouri Hunting Spaniel Club invites you to a free lunch and learn seminar on Thursday, February 21 from 11:30 to 12:30 at Brushy Creek Farm in Dunnegan, MO. The Benefits of Place Boards, provided by Collin Pickrel, professional dog trainer, will deepen our understanding of the command “place” as well as an overview of various place board drills that will build trust between the handler and dog. Lunch will be provided.

“Using place boards as a foundation of your dog’s training is an excellent tool that can be used throughout their career. You can use place boards to work your dog through almost any drill or scenario,” says Collin. 

Collin is owner of GoodLife Kennels with locations in Nebraska and Missouri. Collin believes in building fundamental principles through positive reinforcement and values teaching the amateur handling of a gundog in a close working relationship.
